Hoe meer interactie met de klant, des te meer punten hij krijgt. Dit is een doorlopend proces totdat de lead \u2018warm\u2019 genoeg is. Deze warme leads worden automatisch doorgezet naar de salesafdeling ter opvolging. De marketingafdeling kan hierbij notities plaatsen zodat de salesafdeling genoeg achtergrondinformatie heeft.<\/li><li>Effectievere segmentatie door gecombineerde data: De leads die binnenkomen kunnen beter worden gesegmenteerd. Het segmenteren kan op verschillende manieren worden ingedeeld. Hierbij kun je bijvoorbeeld denken aan de leadscore. Ook kunnen contactpersonen worden gesegmenteerd op basis van branche of getoonde interesses. Hierdoor verstuur je de juiste content (mailings, aanbiedingen etc.) naar de juiste persoon wat zorgt voor meer relevantie en uiteindelijk een hogere conversie.<\/li><li>Leads kunnen gemakkelijk een fase worden teruggeworpen: Wanneer een lead niet bereid is om tot een aankoop over te gaan is het mogelijk dat hij niet ge\u00efnteresseerd is in jouw product of dienst of nog niet ver genoeg is in het koopbeslissingsproces. Een salesafdeling kan deze gemarkeerd terugsturen naar de marketingafdeling zodat er later alsnog een poging kan worden gedaan om de klant te overtuigen te kiezen voor jouw product of dienst.<\/li><li>Optimalisatie van de customer journey: Het marketing automation platform beschikt over de data vanaf het begin van de customer journey. Denk hierbij aan nieuwsbriefinschrijvingen, whitepaper downloads of het aanvragen van productinformatie. Het CRM-systeem beschikt juist over de data van de laatste fase van de customer journey met contactmomenten van de verkoop en verkoopdata. Hierdoor heb je inzicht op het gehele proces waardoor deze goed geanalyseerd kan worden om uiteindelijk geoptimaliseerd te worden.<\/li><li>Effectievere verkoopgesprekken: Middels marketing automation wordt er een online profiel opgesteld van iedere lead. Hierbij worden alle activiteiten van de klant bijgehouden.
