Op dit niveau probeer je zoveel mogelijk informatie van het contact te verzamelen om te onderzoeken of de persoon bevoegd is om aankopen te doen voor het bedrijf. Hierbij moet gedacht worden aan data als:<\/p><ul><li>Functie<\/li><li>Bedrijfsgrootte<\/li><li>Locatie<\/li><\/ul><p>De impliciete criteria worden gebruikt om de contacten te identificeren die de meeste engagement tonen richting je bedrijf. Deze op gedragsgebaseerde criteria zijn een graadmeter om uit te zoeken waar het contact zich in de buyer journey bevindt. Uiteindelijk zal het salesteam de leads die binnenkomen toch moeten verwerken. Om te beginnen zal er, wanneer deze er nog niet is, een buyer persona (ideale klantprofiel) moeten worden opgesteld. Je gaat uit van de meest ideale situatie (excellent prospect) en bouwt zo de ideale klant.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Het blijkt niet altijd even makkelijk om deze informatie te achterhalen. Vaak geven contacten alleen de noodzakelijke informatie en je wilt ook niet het hele formulier volstoppen met verplichte velden. Een aantal tips om w\u00e9l aan deze informatie te komen:<\/p><ul><li><strong>Maak gebruik van \u2018progressive profiling\u2019:<\/strong> Bij het eerste bezoek aan de website vraag je alleen om de voornaam, achternaam en het e-mailadres. Bij de volgende bezoeken vraag je de functietitel, bedrijfsgrootte en industrie. Deze functionaliteit is beschikbaar bij de meeste marketing automation tools.<\/li><li><strong>Maak het formulier interactief:<\/strong> Door een berekening of test aan te bieden achter een formulier zijn mensen eerder geneigd meer informatie af te geven.<\/li><li><strong>Host een webinar:<\/strong> Voor interessante webinars willen contacten meer informatie geven dan voor een \u2018normale\u2019 whitepaper-download.<br \/>Naast het toekennen van scores voor de expliciete criteria is het ook belangrijk om de juiste scores toe te kennen aan de impliciete criteria. Welke dingen die een contact op je website doet zijn belangrijk en welke niet? Met het aantal interacties die een contact doet kan de score op- of aflopen. Wanneer iemand de vacaturepagina bezoekt is dit niet interessant voor de leadfunnel. Een aantal andere voorbeelden voor het toekennen van negatieve scores:<\/p><ul><li>Langere tijd de website niet bezocht<\/li><li>Langere tijd geen mail geopend<\/li><li>Uitschrijven op de nieuwsbrief<\/li><li>Bezoeken van niet interessante pagina\u2019s (bv. vacaturepagina)<\/li><\/ul><p>Als alle punten zijn toegekend moet er worden besloten vanaf welk puntenaantal een lead richting sales gaat. Hiermee wordt alle data automatisch opgeslagen en realtime bijgewerkt. Wanneer de tool aan het CRM wordt gekoppeld kan er een geoliede leadmachine worden gecre\u00eberd en wordt de samenwerking tussen sales en marketing flink geoptimaliseerd.<\/p><p>Lead scoring is een project voor de langere termijn. Een lead kan maanden in de funnel blijven \u2018hangen\u2019, totdat hij of zij een mail ziet die de interacties triggered om als \u2018marketing qualified lead\u2019 te worden gemarkeerd.<\/p><p>Behandel het lead scoring model ook niet als statisch geheel, maar als een dynamische omgeving die zich constant aanpast. Laat samen met het salesteam analyses los op de leads die er zijn en bepaal in hoeverre deze leads waardevol zijn voor het bedrijf.
